here is where i shall put some of the random bullshit i compose... they will for the most part be sketches and short loops. you can use any of these for any reason, except for bad reasons, obviously. you dont even have to credit me (unless you want to??? *bats eyelashes*).
i think this was the first song i made this year?? i feel like my songs tend to be too "loopy" so i deliberately tried to avoid that with this one. the first section is just two chords for the most part but theres some embellishments that make it less repetitive.
i didnt really like this one at first while i was making it but it ended up sounding ok i think. over and over i learn the lesson that if you just go for something itll work out more often than you think.

lotta weird chords. i wanted to explore using M7 b5 chords because... i never use them and they sound cool. also b5 chords are used a lot in jazz i think so i took it in a jazz direction. i had juju by wayne shorter in my head while making it. the use of the whole tone scale on this joint makes me fucking sick, like it actually gives me a headache but its so good. i think this sketch is headache-inducing too but whether its for the same reasons juju is is for you to determine.
